About

MOTORCYCLE BRAKE CALIPERS AND CALIPER BRACKETS FOR CUSTOM HARLEY BUILDS Brakes on a custom chopper or rigid frame build require more thought than a stock swap. Most rigid frames and hardtails have no factory brake mount. The caliper, bracket, and anchor rod have to work together as a system, and the master cylinder bore has to match the caliper piston count. This collection covers calipers from Mid-USA, Tokico, Performance Machine, and Kustom Tech, alongside rigid frame caliper brackets from Lowbrow Customs and Mid-USA, and anchor rods for torque reaction control. BRAKE CALIPERS Mid-USA : CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum calipers in 2-piston and 4-piston versions. Hard anodized aluminum pistons, quad seal design, and brake pad springs to eliminate rattle. Mounting holes are 3.5 inches center-to-center, accepting a 3/8 x 24 banjo bolt. Uses DOT 5 fluid. Available in polished, chrome, and black anodized. Requires a separate caliper bracket. A 3/4-inch bore master cylinder is required for the 4-piston version; 11/16-inch bore for the 2-piston. Tokico : Fully remanufactured 4-piston Tokico calipers in left and right side versions. New hardware, new seals, premium brake pads, and the correct metric banjo bolt included. The Tokico name is well-known among builders who ran Japanese-spec calipers on custom builds through the 1990s and 2000s. Performance Machine : The Vintage 4-piston 125 X 4R caliper in chrome and black for builders who want a show-quality finish. The Classic 4-piston in black for cleaner custom builds. Kustom Tech : SF Super Freni vintage-style 2-piston caliper in black anodized for builders running Kustom Tech hand controls where a matched caliper profile is part of the build direction. Cannonball Springbrake : Complete disc brake conversion kits for I-beam and classic springer front ends, in Star Hub and 1978 to 1999 narrow dual flange front hub configurations. A ready-to-install disc brake solution for springer front ends that came with drum brakes.
