The Mother of Pearl series is our family of genuine natural-shell dials — real mother of pearl, finished so the surface shifts through soft silvers, pinks and greens — and, in the black grade, teal, violet and deep blue — as the wrist moves. Because the shell is natural, no two dials are ever identical. Each one is a limited edition, retired for good once it sells out. The material is the point. Mother of pearl is the iridescent inner layer of shell — nacre — and it carries a depth a printed dial cannot fake: a quiet, shifting lustre that reads differently in daylight, lamplight, and shade. The dress editions set genuine Swarovski crystals at the hours; the Submariner editions run lumed applied indices for low light. Either way, the shell does the talking.
