CHICKPEA was founded by Harriett Grist, a textile designer and maker. Inspired by her mother, a former dressmaker, Harriett draws inspiration from everyday objects and the natural world. The name CHICKPEA reflects her family ties, and many of her products are named after Winchester's roads and historical figures, connecting the brand to its origins.
