About
A turntable is a device used to play vinyl records, converting the grooves on the record into audio signals that can be amplified and heard through speakers. It typically consists of a rotating platter, a tonearm with a cartridge (which holds the stylus or needle), and a motor that drives the platter's rotation. Turntables are favoured by audiophiles and music enthusiasts for their warm, rich sound quality, offering a nostalgic listening experience. In addition to traditional analogue turntables, there are also DJ turntables , designed for scratching and mixing, as well as high-fidelity turntables , built to deliver superior sound reproduction. Despite the rise of digital music, turntables continue to be cherished for their tactile and immersive approach to listening to music.
