Flexible and light. Bamboo: technically a grass not a tree, so not classified with wooden needles . Some may find bamboo knitting needles easy on the hands and flexible. Due to the friction of the bamboo, stitches will stay in place longer. Great for knitting with a slippery fibre like silk or viscose as the stitches won’t slide about as much on these needles.
