About
Cable attachments are designed to expand the functionality of a cable machine, allowing you to train different muscle groups by changing grip, angle, and range of motion. Most attachments connect via a carabiner and can be used with single pulley systems, dual adjustable machines, functional trainers, and lat pulldown or low row stations. Tricep Rope Attachments Primarily used for tricep pushdowns, but also suitable for face pulls, hammer curls, and core work. The split ends allow for a greater range of motion and improved muscle contraction. Typically used on high pulley or adjustable cable machines. Straight Bars A versatile option for bicep curls, tricep pushdowns, and straight-arm pulldowns. The fixed grip supports controlled movement and heavier loads. Typically used on high or low pulley stations. Lat Pulldown Bars Designed for wider grip pulling movements to develop the upper back and lats. Grip width can shift focus between the back and arms. Typically used on lat pulldown or high pulley systems. Row Handles (Close-Grip / V-Bar / Double D) Used for seated rows and close-grip pulling exercises, targeting the mid-back, lats, and biceps. Neutral grips help reduce wrist strain. Typically used on low pulley stations. Single Handles (D-Handles) Ideal for one-arm exercises such as rows, flys, and shoulder work, helping improve balance and muscle symmetry. Typically used on adjustable cable machines or functional trainers. V-Bar / Pressdown Bars Provide a close, stable grip for tricep pushdowns, allowing for more controlled and heavier lifts. Typically used on high pulley systems. Ankle Straps Used for lower body exercises such as kickbacks, leg curls, and hip movements, helping isolate glutes and hamstrings. Typically used on low pulley systems.
