About
Microscopes are a necessary tool for viewing finite areas up close, or visualizing organisms such as bacteria. Many medical specialties require this minute work, and microscopes help physicians complete complicated treatments or diagnose health problems. MFI Medical carries a wide variety of these vital tools to furnish any specialty clinic, surgical suite, or laboratory. Specialized Microscopes Colposcopes A colposcope is a microscope designed for viewing the cervix, vagina, and vulva in a colposcopy examination. They're often equipped with a powerful but gentle light source, recording options, and varying degrees of magnification. Many of the colposcopes that MFI carries are mounted on wheeled floor mounts for convenient mobility around a clinic. Dermatoscopes A dermatoscope is a handheld microscope for better viewing and diagnosing skin conditions. Since they are handheld, they're not often used in actual treatments but rather during general examinations and treatment discussions with patients. Ophthalmic Microscopes An ophthalmic microscope is used for delicate ophthalmic surgeries, providing the surgeon with clear views of the eye from any angle. In addition, these microscopes are typically on mounts for a hands-free, barrier-free experience. Dental Microscope For more intensive dental surgery, oral surgeons can utilize a dental microscope for a magnified, clear view of the teeth, gums, and the vital components underneath. At MFI Medical, various dental microscopes are available as table mounts or as mobile floor stands for added mobility. Laboratory Microscopes These types of microscopes are traditional tabletop microscopes that allow lab technicians to magnify specimens on slides under the microscope. These are typically illuminated from below the sample, and have a rotating head of magnification options. Inverted laboratory microscopes are also available, wherein the light source comes from above and viewing from below. ENT Microscope An ENT Microscope is sp
