Maison Francis Kurkdjian was born in 2009 from an encounter between Francis Kurkdjian, a master perfumer who composed Jean Paul Gaultier’s iconic “Le Mâle” cologne at the age of 24, and Marc Chaya, the co-founder and president of the fragrance house. Over the course of the next decade, the two built a visionary brand, anchored by the success of Kurkdjian’s magnum opus: Baccarat Rouge 540.
