In 1492, master papermakers were already making paper by hand in the Arches paper mill located in the Vosges region of France. The Arches mill is now the only one in France to manufacture all its fine art and printing papers using traditional cylinder moulds. Its composition of 100% cotton gives this paper strength, beauty, a natural, lasting whiteness and an inimitable touch.
