During the 19th Century, the Chateau de Tertre wines rose to worldwide fame. A Dutch businessman, Eric Albada Jelgersma bought the estate in 1997 and invested in the large-scale overall restructuring, thus returning its former noble personality to the Chateau du Tertre. Since March 2021, the Helfrich family has taken over the property and will be writing a new page in the long history of château du Tertre.
