Table lamps with solid stone bases, travertine pendants and marble-and-brass wall lights. Stone gives a fixture visual weight that metal cannot. A marble-based table lamp holds its own on a large console where a slim metal lamp would look temporary, and travertine in particular pairs with the warm neutrals now standard in American interiors.
