Amós Bañeres

Amós Bañeres is a former Pharmacist turned winemaker known for being one half of Els Vinyerons , who work in Penedes, Catalonia. He also makes his own range of wines in the region, as well as on the volcanic soils of Tenerife. His style is always fully natural with no added sulphites. He always works with vegetative cover soils. He fills barrels by gravity, works without temperature control, almost never destems, and almost always employs semi-carbonic maceration.
