Belogradchik is a wine region located in northwest Bulgaria, nestled between the Balkan Mountains and the Danube River. This picturesque area is renowned for its ideal climate and fertile soil, making it good for winemakers... but natural wine from Bulgaria is still not that advanced compared to the rest of Europe and so there are not many wine producers makiong natural wines in the area. The region of Belogradchik is renowned for its production of robust red wines, particularly from the indigenous grape variety Melnik.
