Caveau du Val de l'Amour is a small natural wine domain in the Jura region of France, run by Sylvain Jacquot who makes wine in his garage. Starting out just as a hobby, and with just 1.5 hectares of vines scattered around Arbois and the borders, Caveau de Val de l’Amour wines are full of depth and soul, and the reds represent an underlying ''earthyness' we really appreciate in the Pinot Noir and Trousseau especially. Now with around 2 hectares of vine, the white wines with Chardonnay and Savagnin can feature excellent use of oxidative techniques, even when not fully oxidative. These wines are very special, and quite rare too.
