Burnished Silver Eagles Minted in 2006 - 2007 - 2008 - 2011 - 2012 The burnished Silver Eagle has a special U.S. Mint "smoothed", satin finish, virtually free of any marks. Additionally, to date, all Burnished Silver Eagles have been struck at the West Point mint and bear the W mintmark on the reverse.
