Vacuum plates are specially designed to fit their paired skimmer boxes . This is the thing that you have to keep in mind when purchasing replacement vacuum plates. So if you have a Poolrite skimmer box, you should get a Poolrite vacuum plate that matches the model of the skimmer box, and the same goes for all of the other brands as well. One of the most common causes of a pool suction cleaner not having pressure is a loose or cracked vacuum plate. So if ever you do run across problems like that then be sure to check your vacuum plates for damage. Tip: Clean and dry the vacuum plate thoroughly after using to prevent cracking and damage during storage.
