About

MRCOOL Line Sets MRCOOL line sets contain a pair of copper tubes used to connect the outdoor condenser unit with the indoor air handler in a mini split or split heat pump system. There are three types of MRCOOL line sets, each of which are designed to work with specific MRCOOL systems. DIY Line Sets The MRCOOL DIY Line Sets are the brand's most popular line set type and are used for the EZPRO and DIY 4th Generation Mini Splits . These MRCOOL DIY Line Sets come pre-charged with R-410a refrigerant and feature MRCOOL's patented Quick Connect Technology . Although designed for Do-It-Yourself installation, the MRCOOL DIY Line Sets maintain uncompromising product quality. These line sets are both rip proof and kink resistant, and feature a diamond patterned outer cover made to withstand harsh environments. No-Vac Quick Connect Line Sets The MRCOOL No-Vac Quick Connect Line Sets , also known as the Universal Line Sets , are pre-charged line sets used to connect ducted split systems from the Hyper Heat , Universal , and VersaPro collections. Like the DIY Line Sets, these line sets feature a strong outer cover and come equipped with MRCOOL's Quick Connect Technology, but do use different liquid and suction line sizes. Flared Line Sets MRCOOL Flared Line Sets offer a more conventional approach to connecting mini split systems. Unlike the DIY Line Sets and No-Vac Quick Connect Line Sets, the MRCOOL Flared Line Sets do not come pre-charged with R-410a refrigerant and do not feature the Quick Connect technology. Instead, these line sets use a flared fitting and require the lines
