Discover the Crescent range, the brand that introduced the original Crescent wrench in the early 1900s, replacing an entire set of dedicated-size wrenches with a single adjustable tool. Charles Lindbergh reportedly carried only "gasoline, sandwiches, a bottle of water and a Crescent wrench and pliers" on his 1927 solo transatlantic flight, a measure of how essential the tool had already become. Today the range extends well beyond the original adjustable wrench into pliers, ratcheting spanners, tape measures under the Lufkin name, and snips and shears under the Wiss name, all made from chrome vanadium steel alloy for strength and corrosion resistance.
