Planer Thicknessers

About

We sell planer thicknessers from DeWalt and Metabo, ranging from portable bench-top units to heavier 2200W machines, built for dimensioning rough timber to a consistent, uniform thickness. A planer thicknesser feeds timber through a cutting head to surface and thickness a board in one pass, giving flat, parallel faces across the full length rather than relying on a handheld planer's judgement pass by pass. This makes it the standard tool for preparing rough-sawn stock before joinery or furniture work, where consistent board thickness matters for a tight final joint.
