About
This guide is not a guarantee. Deer tend to eat almost anything when hungry, and their preferences can vary from one herd to another. In areas with denser deer populations, their appetite may become more adventurous. Even if a plant is labeled "deer resistant," it might still nibble on its flowers. Observing your neighborhood to see which plants are thriving is a good idea. Additionally, when bucks are shedding the velvet from their antlers, they may rub them against nearby trees or shrubs, which can cause damage.
