About
Happiness is... a cozy blanket on the first chilly night of fall! Some things you buy once and love forever, and a good blanket is right near the top of that list. Ours range from lightweight woven throws for reading-nook afternoons to plush fleece and sherpa-lined layers for the coldest nights, all in happy florals and cheerful prints. We love stacking them with our dreamy quilts and bedspreads for a bed that practically begs you to stay in. Throw or Bed Blanket? Finding Your Size Start with where your blanket will live. A throw is the couch-and-chair hero: big enough to wrap around you during a movie, light enough to fold over an armrest when you're done. For a layer across the whole bed, size up and check each blanket's listed dimensions against your mattress so you get the drape you're dreaming of. And here's our honest advice... there's no such thing as too many! We keep throws in the living room, a spare over the bench in the guest room, and one within arm's reach of every reading spot in the house. Wherever yours lands, pick the print that makes you smile every time you see it. Sizing matters for gifting, too. A throw is the easy, always-right pick when you're not sure what someone's bed looks like, and it travels happily to dorm rooms, first apartments and new houses. When you know her mattress size, a bed-sized layer feels extra thoughtful under the tree. Layering Your Dreamiest Bed Yet A blanket is the friendliest layer on the bed, because it goes wherever you need it. Start with buttery-soft sheet sets as your base, add a quilt or bedspread, then keep a blanket folded at the foot for nights that turn frosty. On milder evenings, that same blanket can be the only top layer you need. We're big believers in mixing prints, too! A patterned throw over solid bedding wakes the whole room up, and a solid blanket calms a busy print right down. Love the layered look?
