Sun Catchers

About

Style Overview Most windows just do their job. Hang a sun catcher in one, and ordinary daylight turns into tiny rainbows dancing across the floor! Our stained glass and crystal designs come in happy hues and sparkly charms sized for windows, mirrors and cozy corners, the kind of treasure you'd find at a favorite little market and carry home wrapped in tissue. Hang one at home, bring one in the car, or cluster a few in one bright spot, then wander through more cute things for your home . Where to Hang It The short answer: wherever the sun visits most! A kitchen window is the classic pick, since you're standing right there every morning with your coffee. Bedroom windows are lovely too, and a bright landing or stairwell becomes a favorite spot the moment color starts moving across the wall. Windows that face the morning or afternoon sun give you the longest show, so notice where the beams land in your house before you choose. On a sill, let the glow mingle with tiny vases and planters so the whole ledge feels like a cheery little garden, even in the middle of winter. And don't forget your car! Many of these double as sweet rearview mirror charms , so even the drive to the pumpkin patch gets rainbows. Renters, take heart: there's no big commitment. A simple hook or a length of ribbon is usually all it takes, and you can move everything to a new corner whenever a room needs a little extra cheer. Light & Color Through the Day Part of the fun is that the show keeps changing. Morning sun comes in low and golden, sending soft color across the bedroom, where it drifts over pillows and boho quilts and bedspreads like a tiny aurora. We love waking up to that! Midday brings the boldest beams, when crystal styles really do their thing and scatter prisms everywhere at once. It's the hour of happy accidents: a rainbow on the dog, a stripe of pink across the wrapped gifts, color landing right where you least expect it. Then comes late afternoon, our favorite.
