About
Founded in 1996 by designer Asuka Karasawa, Ateliers Penelope produce beautifully made bags, accessories and clothing in their Nakameguro headquarters. Their style is minimalistic in a very Japanese way, with simple lines and organic curves and gorgeous, cheerful colours. They use Japanese materials exclusively, most of their canvases are woven in Kurashiki (Okayama prefecture).
