With the samoyeds, we also keep things simple — but they do love to pull, even on regular walks. That’s why we use a harness that’s comfortable for light pulling, paired with a bungee line and a waist belt on almost every outing. It gives them the freedom they want and keeps the pull smooth for us. With all that fluff, finding the collar ring can be a challenge, so we keep a fixed collar with a big ring for times when they need to be secured on a tie-out. That same collar, together with a sturdy leash, is what we use for quick potty breaks or moving in and out of the car. Practical, reliable gear that handles everyday samoyed life without any fuss.
