Carpets Carpets are a good option for animals that have a habit of eating loose substrates . They provide a soft lining to the floor without the risk of accidental ingestions and impactions. These carpets come in a range of sizes and colours to ensure there is one available for most terrariums and vivariums . Carpets can be removed fortnightly and washed to ensure that they remain clean. When washing it is best to do it by hand and to spray down the carpet with a reptile friendly disinfectant before rinsing off and replacing.
