Chameleon Food Chameleon are usually insectivores meaning they eat mostly live food. Brown crickets are particularly nutritious, locusts , mealworms and wax worms can also be used to supplement their diet and add variety. We have included in this range a variety of dried foods from herbs and flowers to dry pellets. These items are great as a treat, to create variation in a diet or as a long lasting back up food, all of which can play a part in keeping chameleons healthy long-term .
