Emilio Cuilan started Hardbody in 2016 as an outgrowth fromt he completion of his Dany video. Hardbody was founded in New York, with an emphasis on elevating skate products beyond the circulation of blanks and printables often expected of skate brands. In 2024 Hardbody skateboards stepped things up announcing heavy hitting professionals Hjalte Halberg and Antonio Durao on the team.
