About
Founded in 1994 by DLX, Metropolitan was the East Coast’s answer to Spitfire. The brand was known for its simplicity and east coast aesthetics, using only black and white shots by Ari Marcopoulos for its ads. In 2017, Keith Hufnagel and Hanni El Khatib brought back Metropolitan USA as a clothing brand keeping the raw east coast vibes alive.
