About
Founded in 2009 by Brisbane Trent Evans, Pass~Port has carved out a distinct identity in the skateboarding world by blending Australian heritage, community spirit, and raw skate culture. What started as a response to the soullessness Evans saw in skate brands at the time has grown into a globally respected label that remains 100% skater-owned and operated. Pass~Port thrives on its eclectic mix of influences—from vintage Australian iconography to everyday oddities found on the streets of Sydney. Their deck graphics often pull from old books, classic pub tiles, tea spoons, and historical signage, bringing a uniquely Aussie sense of humour to the mix. Their apparel stands out with embroidered details, heavy-duty workwear inspiration, and a DIY ethos, making them a favourite for both skaters and heads who appreciate well-crafted garb. Pass~Port x Nike SB Pass~Port’s global recognition skyrocketed with two major Nike SB collaborations. In 2015, they dropped a stealthy black SB Blazer, and in 2022, they flipped the SB Dunk High with a rugged, outdoors-inspired ‘Workboot’ edition. Featuring antique gold D-rings, a tortoise-shell outsole (mimicking dirt), hiking-style laces, and custom embroidery, the shoe was a nod to hard work, exploration, and blue-collar grit—values deeply rooted in PassPort’s DNA. The Pass~Port Crew The Pass~Port includes a stacked lineup of rippers like Jack O’Grady, Jason Rainbird, Josh Pall, Matlok Bennett-Jones, Callum Paul, Chloe Covell and Eetu Toropainen. Geoff Campbell, one of the best skate filmers in the game, captures their raw, no-frills skating in highly acclaimed edits like Beef to Reef, Goodbye VX, Itchy Feet, and Trinket. More Than a Skate Brand Pass~Port isn’t just about making decks and clothing—it’s a cultural hub. Their Sydney-based store and gallery space hosts exhibitions, film premieres, and events that celebrate skateboarding, art, and community. They’ve also collaborated with brands like Carhartt WIP, Vans, and Nike SB, always
