This brewing method, also known as French press, involves steeping coffee grounds in hot water and then pressing a plunger to separate the brewed coffee from the grounds. Cafetiere coffee is an immersion brewing process extracts oils and compounds from the coffee grounds, creating a rich and full-bodied cup. Common taste profiles include a robust and bold flavour with a heavier mouthfeel. A good starter for these coffees would be anything from our mainstay coffee range, such as Resolute or Stronghold . A good basic recipe to start with is 15g of coffee per 250g of water. Start with that and adjust to taste.
