About
Filter coffee is a delicious and classic way to enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Made by pouring hot water over ground coffee beans and filtering the mixture through a paper or metal filter, this brewing method is favoured by many coffee enthusiasts for its clean taste and simplicity. Our coffee is omni roasted which means it can be enjoyed through filter or espresso, no matter your brewing equipment . Filter coffee, in particular, celebrates the origin, process and producer that was involved to create it, as this type of coffee drinking really allows you to taste the true characteristics of the beans. Filter coffee beans are typically medium to light roast, allowing for a more balanced flavour and a cleaner finish. Whether you prefer to use a classic cafetiere device, or something more progressive such as a Kalita or AeroPress , filter coffee can provide an incredible drinking experience. A good basic recipe to start with is 15g of coffee per 250g of water. We always recommend buying whole bean for maximum freshness but can also have a pre-ground option too. Shop our curated collection of home grinders or read our guide on how to grind coffee at home , we also have brew guides too.
