Amazonia is a Brazilian-inspired grooming range, and you can read that straight off the ingredient names: acai, cupuacu, pitanga, guarana and Brazilian carnauba wax all appear across the range here. Most of it is wash-off bath care for dogs and cats, with a smaller group of sprays, balms and household products around the edges. Nothing on this page is a medicine; if your pet has broken skin or a rash that is not settling, see a vet before you reach for a shampoo. Picking a shampoo by coat and skin The shampoos are split by what you are trying to solve rather than by breed. Oatmeal is the one to start with on dry or itchy skin, and there is a matching Oatmeal conditioner for shed control. Aloe Vera is the regenerating herbal wash, with an anti-itch conditioner alongside it. Coconut is the heavy nourishing option for dry, coarse coats; Acai is the shine and nourishment wash and pairs with an Acai conditioner. Gentle Hypoallergenic is the low-fuss choice for puppies, kittens and reactive skin. White Coat is a whitening formula for pale coats, Passion Fruit is aimed at dander, Odour Control at smell, and Cupuacu carries a natural sunscreen claim from the brand. Nature's Extreme Protection and Pitanga Revitalizing round out the herbal end. If bathing is not practical — a cat, a cold snap, an older dog — the Dry Bath waterless shampoos do the job without a tub.
