Aquasonic is an Australian maker of aquarium medications and water conditioning salts. The range here covers the common freshwater and marine diseases, plus three mineral blends for setting up water chemistry. Copper-based treatments belong in a quarantine tank, not a display reef. Conditioning salts are added with new water at setup or at a water change — never to top up evaporation, and never re-dosed without changing water first. Salts stay behind when water evaporates, so topping up with more only concentrates them.
