Every brand on this page states on its own website that its food or treats are made in Australia. PeekAPaw groups them by that stated claim rather than auditing where each product is produced, so the manufacturer's own labelling stays the source of truth. Australian made dog food here comes from Prime100, Black Hawk, Bell & Bone, SavourLife, Bugsy's, Mimi & Munch, Meals for Mutts, Pure Life, Hypro Premium, Love'em, WAG, Laila & Me, Proudi, The Paw Grocer and BlackDog, across dry food, wet food, raw patties and treats. Some brands make the claim for only part of what they sell, so a brand appearing here does not mean every product it sells qualifies: Black Hawk states it for their dry food, SavourLife for their treats, and BlackDog labels origin product by product. Three similar-sounding claims also mean different things under Australian country-of-origin labelling. "Australian Made", with the green and gold kangaroo triangle, means the food was substantially transformed here, though some ingredients may still be imported. "Made in Australia from X% Australian ingredients" adds a bar graphic and a percentage, which is the claim to read if ingredient origin is what you care about. "Australian owned" describes the company, not the food. Read the origin bar and the percentage on the back of the pack, and check whether it covers the whole recipe or one named protein.
