BetaVet Natural Solutions is a herbal range for horses: concentrated single-herb extract powders, liquid tonics and topical blends, in sizes from a 30g pack up to 10L for a busy stable. The one exception is FlexiDog, the boswellia and turmeric joint blend made for dogs. Two things are worth knowing before you order. The powders and the liquids are different formats of the same thinking, but they are fed differently: the "+ Red Marine Minerals" extracts are scoop-measured powders stirred through feed, while the liquid tonics go in the feed or by oral syringe, so pick the one that fits how you already feed. And two of the joint products, Devils Claw + Red Marine Minerals and Flexalot, contain Devils Claw, for which BetaVet specifies a 72-hour withhold before racing and FEI competition. Flexalot is written for older and non-regulated horses for that reason; Protect and Turmeric + Red Marine Minerals are the ones to look at if you compete under those rules. Electrolift is formulated without selenium, which matters if your horse is already on a selenium supplement.
