One tube of Bravecto Spot On gives 6 months of protection from fleas and paralysis ticks, so two doses cover a full year. It also treats and controls ear mites and sarcoptic mange, and prevents flea tapeworm infections. The tube is a twist-and-use applicator, and the product goes onto skin between the shoulder blades — part the coat properly first, because product left sitting on the hair does not spread as it should. Spot-on is the format to choose when a dog will not reliably eat a tablet, or when you would rather keep treatment out of the food bowl. Five bodyweight bands are stocked, from 2-4.5kg up to 40-56kg. Note the 40-56kg tube is pink, while the equivalent chew is purple, so match on the printed weight rather than the colour.
