PeekAPaw stocks three Catit water fountains and the replacement filters they all need. The standard PIXI holds 2.5 litres and comes in light pink, light blue or sage green with a plastic top. The stainless steel PIXI is the same 2.5 litres with a dishwasher-safe steel top: easier to keep genuinely clean, and the version Catit points to for cats prone to chin acne. The PIXI Smart holds 2 litres, adds a UV-C clarifier and a status light, and is controlled from the PIXI app. Two practical points. Every one of them uses the same triple action filter, which needs replacing about once a month; a filter left in too long stops working and starts holding what it caught, which is usually why a fountain begins to smell.
