Country Heritage Feeds mills certified organic stockfeed in Australia. The range here is all 20kg bags and splits into poultry feeds (backyard layer mash and pellets, free range layer, coarse layer, chick starter grower, soy-free and gluten-free options), straight grains (whole wheat, grain mix) and livestock mashes for beef, sheep, goats and pigs. Choosing a feed — mash and pellets of the same formula are nutritionally equivalent; mash suits birds that forage and scratch, pellets waste less and suit feeders. Chick Starter Grower is for birds up to point of lay and should be swapped to a layer feed once they start laying, because starter feed does not carry enough calcium for shell formation. The vegetarian and soy-free versions exist for keepers who want to control what goes into the eggs, not because the standard formula is deficient. These are 20kg bags.
