Desk Nest solves one problem: the cat that insists on being on the desk while you work. Instead of competing for keyboard space, the bed clamps to the desk edge and gives the cat its own shelf at the same height, off to the side. The frames are wood - walnut or white oak - with a cushion that lifts out for washing. They read as furniture rather than pet gear, which is why they end up in home offices. Choosing between them - the single suits one cat that curls up. The Duo adds a second level, which is what you need for two cats (they rarely share a level willingly) or one large cat that sprawls. Before you order, measure your desk. The clamp needs clear space under the edge, so a desk with a drawer running the full width will not work. Desk tops thicker than the standard clamp reaches need the clamp extension. Spare cushion covers and a wrap-around bolster pillow are sold separately - a second cover is worth having, because cats do not stop using the bed while the first one is in the wash.
