Doggi is a single-material range: eight products, all moulded from thermoplastic rubber (TPR), which is non-toxic, free from lead, BPA and phthalates, and fully recyclable. TPR is springy rather than hard, so these toys bounce unpredictably and give under a bite instead of resisting it. Fetch, float and carry Much of the range floats, which makes it the set to take to the beach or the pool: the Catch & Carry Ball, the Ball n Clip, the Fetch & Carry Boomerang, the Float N Fly and the Ribbed Bone all sit on the surface rather than sinking. The Catch & Carry Ball has a flattened top with a handle, so a dog gets real purchase on it and you have something to tug against; the Ball n Clip adds a holder that clips to a belt or waistband, which solves the problem of carrying a wet ball home. The Catch & Carry Ball, the Rugby Ball and the Dumbell each come in small, medium and large, and the Float N Fly in small and medium/large — size by your dog's mouth rather than by enthusiasm, because a toy that is too small is the one that gets swallowed. Grooves, treats and the lick mat The grooved and ribbed surfaces across this range are not decoration. They hold a smear of paste, and several of the toys have a hole in the base that takes dry treats, which turns a fetch toy into something slower and quieter for a dog left on its own. The Lickin' Treat Mat is the dedicated version of that idea: a ribbed TPR mat you spread paste, gel or wet food across, which can go in the freezer to stretch the session out further.
