Equine Products Ireland manufactures performance-horse supplements in Ireland, and PeekAPaw carries seven of its lines. Gastro Race + is the racing formulation, built on seaweed meal and Lithothamnium algae with flax oil rather than a synthetic buffer. Cal + and Strong Bone + also overlap. Cal + is the broodmare and young horse supplement, weighted towards calcium, phosphorus and copper for skeletal development. Strong Bone + carries the same bone minerals but adds glucosamine, MSM and turmeric extract, so it suits a mature horse in hard work. Feeding both together would double up the calcium, so pick one. These are complementary feeds, not veterinary medicines. If your horse has been scoped for ulcers or diagnosed with a joint problem, work to your vet's plan and treat these as support.
