About

The Origins of Lattafa Lattafa Perfumes was established in Dubai in 1980 by Mr. Sheikh Shahid Ahmad and co-founder Mr. Shoaib Iqbal, built on a single ambition: to bring the quality of fine Arabian perfumery to a global audience at a price that did not require an occasion to justify. The name itself comes from the Arabic "latif" and "lateefa," meaning gentle and beautiful - an accurate summary of the aesthetic the brand has pursued across four decades of perfumery. What began as a regional fragrance enterprise grew into one of the most productive and internationally recognized perfume houses in the Middle East. Today, Lattafa's Dubai manufacturing facility produces approximately 75,000 bottles per day, supplying a portfolio of over 300 fragrances to markets across the Middle East, Europe, and North America. That scale has not come at the cost of quality. Lattafa's Eau de Parfum concentration is the standard across its line - not an upgrade tier - which means every bottle delivers the longevity and projection that EDP concentration is built to provide. A Legacy of Accessible Arabian Luxury Lattafa's fragrance identity draws on the ingredients most associated with Middle Eastern perfumery - oud, amber, saffron, and rich spice blends - while simultaneously embracing international perfumers and modern composition techniques that give the range broad appeal. Collaborations with acclaimed perfumers including Gaël Montero, Alex Lee, and Fanny Bal have produced some of the brand's most-discussed releases, bringing technical sophistication to compositions that remain accessible in price. The result is a brand that regularly produces fragrances drawing direct comparisons to luxury houses at multiples of the price. Asad is consistently referenced alongside Dior Sauvage Elixir. Khamrah has been placed in conversation with Tom Ford's Oud Wood. These comparisons are less about imitation than about performance: Lattafa fragrances are EDP-strength compositions built for longevity a
