About

Cacharel was founded in France in 1962 by Jean Bousquet and became known for youthful, romantic fashion rather than formal couture. That spirit carried naturally into fragrance, especially with Anaïs Anaïs in 1978, a floral scent that became one of the house’s enduring signatures. Later creations such as Amor Amor introduced a brighter, sweeter and more contemporary character. Cacharel’s value lies in this continuity: accessible French femininity, recognisable fragrance identities and a heritage long enough to feel established without the distance or formality of older luxury maisons.
