Only move to black if your dog gets through it, because the harder rubber is less rewarding to chew and some dogs lose interest. Measure, don't guess Sizing by breed is the commonest mistake, because two dogs of the same breed can be two sizes apart. Collar: measure round the neck where the collar sits and add enough room for two fingers underneath. Harness: the number that matters is the girth, measured round the chest just behind the front legs. Neck size alone won't tell you. Crate: your dog should be able to stand without ducking, turn round without touching the sides, and lie out flat. Bigger than that isn't a problem. Smaller is. What lasts and what doesn't No dog toy is indestructible, whatever the packaging says, and a determined chewer will get through most things eventually.
