About

Flash Lighting Flash lighting fires at the moment the shutter is triggered. While flash lighting can sometimes incorporate a continuous modeling light, it is generally a much lower output than what is available in a continuous light, and is strictly a reference for identifying shadow placement. The result is longer battery life, and more allocation of power at the time of exposure. Strobe, or flash lighting, also has improved ability to stop action or control ambient light through camera controls, which are unavailable with continuous lighting options.
