This material is chosen for its excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and superior weldability, making it ideal for performance exhaust applications. T304 stainless steel ensures long-lasting durability and a premium finish, even under demanding conditions. Are all of your tubing bends mandrel-bent? Yes, absolutely. All of our tubing bends are 100% mandrel-bent. This advanced bending process ensures that the tubing maintains a consistent internal diameter throughout the bend, preventing any restrictions to exhaust flow. Unlike crush bending, mandrel bending maximizes exhaust gas velocity and horsepower, which is crucial for optimal engine performance. Are the listed tube diameters based on Outer Diameter (OD) or Inner Diameter (ID)? All of our listed tube diameters are based on the Outer Diameter (OD). This is the industry standard for automotive exhaust and fabrication tubing, as it is the critical measurement for ensuring proper fitment with clamps, flanges, and other components. The Inner Diameter (ID) will vary slightly depending on the wall thickness of the tubing. What is the wall thickness (gauge) of your tubing and bends? Our tubing and bends are manufactured with a consistent wall thickness of 16 gauge (0.065 inches or approximately 1.65mm). This thickness provides an optimal balance of strength, durability, and weight, making it robust enough for performance applications while remaining easy to work with for custom fabrication.
