About
Jones Bikes makes some of the most distinctive and functional adventure bike handlebars in the world. The original Jones H-Bar - a wide, heavily swept aluminium bar with an integrated crossbar - has earned a devoted following among bikepackers, adventure cyclists and off-road tourers who put comfort and control above all else. Why Choose Jones? The Jones H-Bar solves a problem that standard handlebars don't address: long days in the saddle on rough terrain demand more hand positions, more comfort and more stability than a conventional flat or riser bar provides. The H-Bar's geometry delivers all three. The Jones H-Bar The Jones H-Bar's 45-degree back-sweep and integrated cross brace give you multiple comfortable hand positions for long riding days. Narrow your grip on climbs, use the centre for technical sections, and spread wide for descents and relaxed cruising on gravel. Plus and Loop Bar Variants Jones makes a Plus version of the H-Bar with forward-facing extensions that provide additional riding positions, similar to touring bar ends. The Loop Bar takes this further with a complete second loop for even more hand placement options on multi-day adventures. Aluminium and Carbon Options Jones H-Bars are available in heat-treated aluminium for durability and a compliant feel, or in carbon for a weight saving on builds where grams matter. Both versions deliver the same distinctive geometry and riding feel. Bikepacking and Adventure Touring The H-Bar's swept design works naturally with bikepacking bag layouts, and the crossbar provides an excellent mounting point for a handlebar bag or additional accessories. This makes Jones bars a top choice for multi-day backcountry touring in NZ. Compatible with Most Bikes Jones H-Bars are available in standard 22.2mm and oversize 31.8mm clamp versions to fit most mountain bikes, gravel bikes and touring frames. With widths from 710mm to 760mm, there's a size to suit most riding positions.
