About
Mushroom kits are designed to be grown indoors. You can grow them on your kitchen counter! Dowel spawn is used to innoculate hardwood logs for outdoor cultivation; we recommend using a 5/16" drill bit set at 1" depth to drill holes for the dowels. Garden spawn can be mixed with the soil in your garden, or sandwiched between the appropriate substrate and fruited outdoors.
