Hydnophora corals are some what of an SPS/LPS Hybrid. Most list as SPS, but these divisions of 'SPS' and 'LPS' are more applicable to the home aquarium than they are in the wild. The polyps on a Hydnophora are small, but larger still than your typical Acropora, Montipora or other SPS species. Care requirements are similar, they like both flow and light.
