About

Our gemstone rings put a colored gemstone or moissanite at the center of an engagement ring design. Pick the stone, the shape (round, oval, cushion, princess, emerald, pear, marquise or heart) and a solitaire, halo, pave, three stone or vintage style. Every ring comes in white, yellow or rose gold, platinum, or Silvadium, a tarnish-resistant sterling silver. The gemstones you can choose Lab-grown ruby, sapphire and emerald: lab-grown ruby in red, lab-grown sapphire in blue, pink or yellow, and lab-grown emerald in green. Natural, treated gemstones: tanzanite, aquamarine, amethyst, citrine, garnet, peridot and blue topaz. Moissanite: colorless, with strong fire and sparkle. Accents in the band or halo are lab-grown diamonds. Hardness and daily wear An engagement ring takes knocks every day, so hardness matters. Moissanite (9.25 on the Mohs scale) and lab-grown ruby and sapphire (9) are the toughest picks. Lab-grown emerald and natural aquamarine (7.5 to 8) wear well with care. Amethyst, citrine, garnet and peridot (about 6.5 to 7) and tanzanite and blue topaz need gentler wear; a halo or bezel helps protect them. Carat weight, metal and price Every design offers 1 to 9 carats total weight, and most bands are about 1.8 to 2.5 mm wide. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Rings start under $300, and most are between about $750 and $1,050. A larger center shows more color, and a halo of lab-grown diamond accents makes any stone look bigger. Made to order Each ring is made for you in 10–15 days. Shipping is free on orders over $500, returns are accepted within 30 days, and one resize is free within 60 days of delivery. Gemstone Rings FAQs Which gemstones should be avoided for engagement rings? Soft or fragile stones such as opal, pearl, turquoise and moonstone are best avoided for a ring worn every day, since they scratch, chip or absorb oils easily. Stones around 6 to 7 on the Mohs scale, such as tanzanite and peridot, can work but need gentle wear and a protective setting. F
